By advocating through community-building and collaboration, Students With Psychosis aims to destigmatize the presence of unusual experiences with young adults on school campuses.

SA offers self-help groups for people who live with unusual experiences. They offer several different types of groups, including both spiritual and non-spiritual focuses. (Sponsored by SPAA.)

NAMI Connection Recovery Support Groups offer peer-led support groups for people experiencing any mental health condition. They offer an expansive number of groups in many different locations around the US (both in-person and online).

local mental health agencies
Many local mental health agencies hold their own peer support groups and community gathering spots for both consumers and the general public. Research your local agency and inquire about joining – all mental health agencies have different eligibility requirements to participate.

Vermont Psychiatric Survivors sponsors a weekly online peer support group aiming to provide a safe space for “open discussion, synergetic support, creative problem solving, and mindful movement” about patient rights and policies.
